Wilson Cho was raised in the Bridlepath community of Toronto, Ontario. He recalls his early experiences with his late father, a premier land developer in Hong Kong, and the valuable lessons he learned. These experiences inspired him to involve himself in the family business. Upon immigrating to Toronto, Ontario, the Cho family quickly submersed itself in the real estate development. They funded the pursuits of countless real estate developers, and built three condominium buildings in Toronto, Ontario – Yorkmills Mansion, the Edwardian and North York Watergarden.
Mr. Cho completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. His career in engineering was short-lived. Mr. Cho determined that his strong suit was business. He went on to complete a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, at Western University in London, Ontario.
With his extensive educational background and experience in the family business, Mr. Cho completed his real estate registration to complement his personal construction business. As his extensive network began relying on his advice and expertise, he began assisting others with their personal, residential transactions. This evolved into a successful practice. Mr. Cho successfully farmed the York Mills-Windfields and Bridlepath communities in Toronto, Ontario.
Mr. Cho developed a reputation within his employing brokerage for being an outstanding sales representative. There he achieved numerous awards and accolades, including the award for highest dollar volume of transactions (2016).
Mr. Cho recalls having been contacted by Alessandro Valente, who was in search of brokers requiring additional client leads. Upon their first meeting, a bond was formed. The pair collectively explored business opportunities, which led to the inception of Red House Realty in 2017.
Today, Mr. Cho continues to specialize in the sale of luxury residential properties. He also owns a variety other successful businesses, including a construction business, financial services firm, several restaurants and a pet boarding facility.
At Red House Realty, Mr. Cho is responsible for overseeing business development and satisfying the investment objectives of the enterprise. Mr. Cho further serves an advisory role to its sales force, consulting with salespersons and brokers on property valuation techniques and best practices when working with clients.
